Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
21+ years of age
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and nearby surroundings for unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or unattended items, and report observations according to post orders.
Document incidents, patrol activity, and noteworthy observations in required logs and/or reports, and follow Allied Universal procedures for escalating concerns.
