About The Position

As a Security Guard Access Control Transport Driver in Mount Holly, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer in an automotive environment, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming, orderly location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving position. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess EMT certification.
  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, production-related facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Document incidents, access concerns, and unusual conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
