About The Position

Guards and patrols facilities and grounds to protect property and personnel against fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, and other hazards. Periodically tours premises; examines doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure; observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property; inspects equipment and stores for signs of tampering; reports irregularities; sounds alarms; and permits authorized persons to enter property. Examines credentials of people seeking entrance to restricted areas and may be required to direct traffic on company premises. A Support 2 role requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools, obtained through work experience, and may require vocational or technical education. Work is performed under moderate supervision. Problems are typically routine, although some may require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. The role communicates information that may require explanation or interpretation.

Responsibilities
