About The Position

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a Security Front Lobby Officer. This is a full-time position for the 1st shift, Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, located in Bowling Green, OH. The role requires an outgoing, enthusiastic, and responsible individual with a desire to work in a professional, customer service-driven industry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a front desk and lobby setting, with a valid security guard card and active Texas State training and Guard Card licensing. The site demands the highest level of professionalism, customer service, technology skills, and excellent work ethics. This is a professional, high-accountability environment, not a passive post, offering a fast path to advancement for consistent performers. Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Non-Commissioned security license through the state of Ohio
  • Previous dispatch experience required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Previous security experience is required
  • Attentive to detail
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
  • Valid Security Guard Card
  • Active TEXAS State training and Guard Card licensing

  • Previous experience in Front Desk and Lobby Setting

Responsibilities

  • Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real-time.
  • Monitor the facility's CCTV to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
  • Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and alerts via internal communications system, national weather, and act quickly and decisively.
  • Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Provide support during emergencies (fire, medical, intrusions, natural disasters).
  • Utilize internal communications systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer-based software with a high level of professionalism.
  • Operate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badges.
  • Provide security support for various client projects and events.
  • Administer all client policies for controlling access to client property.
  • Front Desk — Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements
