About The Position

Creative Security Company Inc. is seeking a Flex Schedule Corporate Security Specialist. This role requires proactive individuals with strong leadership qualities and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure. Security Specialists are responsible for managing relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality security services, and providing physical security operations support. The role involves implementing security protocols, maintaining satisfaction through effective communication, and service delivery. Since being founded by retired SJPD Sergeant Chuck Wall in 1995, Creative Security has developed and expanded the most elite security force in the bay area. Our new employees are welcomed by a team of trained professionals who respect hard work and believe in compensating diligence accordingly. Additional full-time positions are opening up as the site expands. This position requires 7 days and two shifts availability, with hours varying weekly. Weekend availability is mandatory.

Requirements

  • Experience in high-touch customer service, security supervision, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in building and cultivating strong relationships.
  • Knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using security management software and tools.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, and other enterprise communication tools.
  • Valid BSIS Guard Card
  • Stand and/or Walk up to 8 hours a day
  • No visible tattoos
  • Must be authorized to work in the US

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP)
  • CPR and First Aid certification

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarms, to detect and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Manage access to the company’s offices by verifying the identity of individuals, issuing visitor badges and ensuring compliance with access control policies.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with security procedures, including the use of ID badges and adherence to visitor protocols.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, understanding their security needs and requirements.
  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of professionalism and discretion when interacting with high-profile guests and events.
  • Address and resolve any security-related issues or concerns promptly.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding security procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of visibility and approachability within the office.
  • Implement and enforce Corporate Security’s security protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct site assessments and recommend security improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, ensuring appropriate documentation and reporting.
  • Document all incidents that occur at the site in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide clear lines of communication and transparency with the Corporate Security team and global security operations center for security related issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all security activities and employee interactions.
  • Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and alarms through the global security operations center.
  • Assist with investigations and follow-up on security breaches or incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to clients and the company.
