About The Position

DSI Security Services is seeking a Security Flex Officer to provide coverage across multiple client locations in the Joliet area and surrounding suburbs. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility and dependability to ensure staffing stability and support operational needs. The selected officer will be responsible for providing security coverage, maintaining a safe environment, and responding to incidents. This role involves travel between various client sites, including Streamwood, Joliet, and Romeoville, and may require further commute based on operational needs. Requirements

Reliable transportation (travel between sites is required)
Must be able to cover Streamwood, Joliet, and Romeoville locations and surrounding areas
Professional appearance and strong communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different post assignments
Minimum 21 years of age
Valid Driver's License + Clean MVR
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable means of communication
Basic to intermediate computer skills
Ability to conduct patrols and work in various weather conditions
Must pass all pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

Provide security coverage at multiple client sites as assigned
Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
Observe, report, and respond to incidents and suspicious activity
Follow all DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and employees
