About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Flex Officer for a mall assignment in Irving, Texas. The position provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with opportunities to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The role is part-time, with the option to work additional hours and build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

The stated schedule is Monday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.50 per hour. The officer provides customer service, conducts patrols, monitors access and activity, responds to incidents, and completes required reports and shift documentation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical situations; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding property to identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor and contractor activity, and support access procedures for restricted areas, deliveries, and after-hours activity.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, local authorities, and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete required reports and shift documentation.
