About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Integrity in Plano, Texas. The role provides a reliable assigned site and weekly shift, with a six-month commitment to the designated shift. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing hours to vary and potentially build to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $25.49 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
