About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Emergency Patrol in Irving, Texas. The position is primarily a driving post supporting airport security. The officer provides customer service and performs security procedures, site-specific policies, patrols, access monitoring, emergency response, and reporting. The role includes a designated site and weekly anchor shift that requires a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with opportunities to build up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The listed pay rate is $18.11 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require candidates to be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout airport terminals, surrounding grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, notify appropriate personnel, and follow established reporting protocols.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining professional communication with airport personnel and the public.
