About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Driver for an assigned logistics and distribution site in Lancaster, Texas. The role provides a fixed weekly schedule of Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a six-month commitment to the assigned site and shifts. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, potentially increasing their hours up to 40 per week while retaining the option to scale back.

The position pays $16.82 per hour. Duties include providing customer service, following site security procedures, responding to incidents, monitoring access, and conducting unarmed patrols. Applicants must have at least six months of security-related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, package or shipment irregularities, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, loading areas, vehicle gates, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations through required reporting channels.
