About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Driver for an assigned site in Richardson, Texas. The position provides a fixed weekly schedule with consistent hours and a six-month commitment to the designated site and shift. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, allowing their hours to vary and potentially increase to as many as 40 hours per week.

The role is based in a financial services office environment and combines front-desk customer service with visitor access management and security response. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour. The listed anchor shifts are Monday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

• A guard card or license.
• Access control or badge experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, verify appointments, and direct guests according to site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access to the location, manage visitor sign-in, and issue or retrieve visitor credentials as authorized.
• Answer incoming calls, relay information to appropriate personnel, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation.
• Report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
