Security & Facility Support Specialist
About The Position
CommQuest seeks a part-time Midnight Security & Facility Support Specialist for our Family Living Center located in Massillon, OH. The Security & Facility Support Specialists are responsible for ensuring the safety of CommQuest personnel, clients, premises, and assets. They maintain a visible and professional presence to deter and prevent inappropriate or illegal activity. Security team members are expected to uphold a respectful and dignified approach when interacting with staff and clients, while promoting a safe and secure environment. Their primary duties include detecting, deterring, observing, preventing, and reporting any concerning or criminal behavior. Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of public security, security protocols and procedures, and/or law enforcement experience, highly preferred.
- Ability to work with diverse populations such as mental health and substance abuse, highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Patrols the facility and perimeter regularly
- Practices non-violence crisis interventions as situations arise
- Report suspicious incidents
- Monitors and controls access to facility
- Donation sorting and organizing
- Light housekeeping duties
- Other duties as assigned
