About The Position

VxL Enterprises is hiring a part-time Security Escort for a position contingent on contract award. The role escorts visitors who are not cleared through a secure government facility, ensures they remain within authorized areas, and makes sure facility security procedures are followed. The schedule is weekday daytime core hours, Monday through Friday, with federal holidays off. Shifts are at least four hours. Work outside core hours is occasional and must be approved in advance. Required security and annual training is scheduled off post with relief coverage.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship.
Active TS/SCI clearance.
At least 21 years of age, as required by the contract.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of qualifying experience in access control, physical security monitoring, escorting, static guard, law enforcement, military service (combat arms, military police, or physical security duties), or related security oversight in a controlled government or defense facility.
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification before starting.
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and stoop for up to 12 hours.
Fluency in English and ability to understand and apply written rules and procedures.
Eligibility for a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
Willingness to sign a non-disclosure agreement and, if required, submit to a counterintelligence polygraph.

Responsibilities

Brief escorted visitors on facility security, safety rules, and prohibited items.
Escort visitors who are not cleared, including maintenance and construction workers, and keep them in authorized areas at all times.
Follow and enforce facility security procedures.
Report security concerns or incidents right away.
Coordinate with Access Control Officers and the Site Supervisor.
Complete required security and annual training, scheduled off post with relief coverage.
