Security Engineer

Novig
$150,000 - $200,000Hybrid

About The Position

Novig is building America's #1 sports prediction market and is seeking a Security Engineer to help build systems that make security proactive and scalable. This role involves developing automation pipelines, AI agents, and policy-as-code controls for vulnerability management, compliance enforcement, and identity security. It's a hands-on position where the engineer will own tools and pipelines, deepen their security engineering skills, and create reliable solutions that form the company's security foundation. The work aims to meaningfully reduce risk across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience with SOAR workflows and SIEM integrations
  • Experience developing AI agents and LLM-powered automation
  • Experience with vulnerability management (scanning, prioritization, remediation)
  • Experience with compliance and policy as code
  • Experience hardening cloud environments
  • Experience with IaC pipelines (Terraform, CDK, etc.)
  • Experience managing and improving IAM systems
  • Experience integrating and operating MDM/EDR platforms

Responsibilities

  • Own focused security engineering tasks and deliver them reliably
  • Build and maintain SOAR workflows and SIEM integrations that automate detection, triage, and response across our infrastructure
  • Develop AI agents and LLM-powered automation to handle security tasks that would otherwise require continuous manual oversight
  • Own vulnerability management end-to-end: scanning, prioritization, and automated remediation pipelines
  • Implement compliance and policy as code, turning security requirements into enforceable, auditable controls
  • Harden cloud environments and embed security scanning into IaC pipelines (Terraform, CDK, etc.)
  • Manage and improve IAM systems — access controls, privilege boundaries, and identity lifecycle automation
  • Integrate and operate MDM/EDR platforms, ensuring endpoint visibility and enforcement at scale
  • Partner cross-functionally with infrastructure, engineering, and compliance teams to embed security earlier in the development lifecycle

  • $150k – $200k base, benchmarked at top-tier tech companies
  • Meaningful equity for every employee, regardless of role
  • 100% health premiums covered
  • 99% dental & vision covered
