About The Position

We are seeking a Network Engineer with a focus on Security and AV Systems to join our team. This full-time professional role involves providing design support for network infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with security and AV systems. You will assist in product selection, configure and test equipment in a lab environment, and deploy to sites for system installations and integration. Collaboration with stakeholders to assess integration needs and implement solutions into existing customer networks is a key part of this role.

Requirements

Proven experience in designing and deploying small networks, preferably in the security or AV industry.
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
Familiarity with security principles and best practices for network infrastructure.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues effectively.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Perform quality work within assigned deadlines with and/or without direct supervision.
Interact professionally with other employees, customers, suppliers, vendors, etc.
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
Work independently while understanding the need for communication and coordination of work efforts with other team members, departments, or organizations.

Nice To Haves

Experience with audiovisual systems and integration is a plus.
