About The Position

Juicebox is a rapidly growing AI SaaS company dedicated to helping teams excel in talent acquisition. They support over 5,000 customers, ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies, and are on a path to $100M ARR with significant monthly growth. The company has secured over $116M in funding from prominent investors. Juicebox is seeking a Security Engineer with strong platform expertise to establish their security foundation from scratch, covering identity, infrastructure, and data systems. The goal is to build secure-by-default systems that can scale with the company without impeding engineering efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong background in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud security
• Hands-on experience with: AWS (IAM, RDS, networking)
• Hands-on experience with: Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Experience building: Identity systems (SSO, IAM, IdP)
• Experience building: Secrets management solutions
• Ability to design and ship end-to-end systems
• Strong communication and execution skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with tools like Wiz, Doppler, 1Password
• Familiarity with SIEM / security event pipelines
• Kubernetes or service mesh security
• Experience with sandboxing or secure execution
• Interest in AI / LLM security

Responsibilities

• Design and implement identity and access systems (IdP, IAM-based auth, SSO)
• Centralize and secure secrets management (rotation, least privilege, auditing)
• Build cloud security controls across AWS (data protection, access guardrails)
• Develop security observability pipelines (logging, SIEM, detection)
• Enforce infrastructure security via Terraform / GitOps
• Improve application security (auth, API protection, multi-tenant isolation)
• Partner with engineering to turn security into automated, developer-friendly systems
• Define and execute a security architecture roadmap
