Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
Proven experience in a security engineering or cybersecurity role
Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection
Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and authentication protocols
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain security systems and infrastructure to protect organizational assets
Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, vulnerabilities, and threats
Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses
Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices
Respond to and investigate security incidents, performing root cause analysis and remediation
Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies
