About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Engineer to join our IT and cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise security infrastructure to protect systems, networks, applications, and data from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in security operations, threat monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and infrastructure security across cloud and on-prem environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity / Security Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of network security, system security, and cloud security
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection
  • Experience with vulnerability management and security assessment tools
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards
  • Experience securing Windows/Linux environments and cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts
  • Understanding of incident response and threat detection methodologies
  • Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, CCSP, or equivalent are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security solutions and controls
  • Monitor security systems, alerts, logs, and incidents using SIEM and security tools
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and remediation activities
  • Manage firewall configurations, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint security, and access controls
  • Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and security breaches
  • Implement security policies, standards, and compliance best practices
  • Secure cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Perform security audits, patch management, and system hardening activities
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to improve security posture
  • Maintain documentation related to security architecture, incidents, and procedures
  • Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies
