About The Position

Endex is seeking a Security Engineer to identify meaningful security weaknesses and work with the team to remediate them. The engineer will build security improvements across Endex's applications and infrastructure, partnering directly with product engineers and compliance owners to turn identified risks into tested technical controls. The role is based primarily in New York City, with other listed locations in Denver, Chicago, Singapore (APAC), London, San Francisco, Austin, and Los Angeles. The position requires five days in person.

Requirements

Experience investigating and remediating real application or cloud security issues.
Ability to read code, build tooling, and work with production systems.
Ability to prioritize security work based on impact and how a system is used.
Ability to clearly explain findings and fixes so engineers can act on them.
Practical security depth, including inspecting code and cloud systems, verifying findings, and helping implement maintainable fixes.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud and identity security.
Experience with enterprise SaaS or AI applications.
Experience with cloud IAM, application security, threat modeling, or securing AI systems.

Responsibilities

Review authentication, authorization, tenant boundaries, and data flows to identify practical weaknesses before they reach production.
Improve cloud identity, secrets management, application protections, and security checks in collaboration with the engineering team.
Investigate security findings, prioritize remediation, and verify fixes.
Build useful security checks and guidance into engineering workflows.
Help analyze security incidents and develop detection or prevention improvements that address underlying failure modes.
