About The Position

Akamai's Information Security team is responsible for safeguarding Akamai, its customers, and the Internet worldwide. We are looking for an Identity and Access Business Analyst / Security Engineer to support our IAM group. You will have the opportunity to address global security challenges and make the Internet a safer place, powered by the scale of Akamai's platform and influence. You will work on the analysis and implementation of tools to strengthen the security posture at Akamai Compute. Expect to do studies on preventive tools for identity and access management. You will help Akamai's Compute culture to become more agile, innovative and dynamic.

Requirements

3+ years of experience and a Bachelors degree in a related field.
A deep understanding of Linux, single sign-on, privilege access management, directory services, access federation and account lifecycle.
Automation experience using Python and data visualization.
Knowledge and experience in Atlassian suite (JIRA and Confluence).
Knowledge and experience in business process automation best practices.
Exceptional communication skills to work with collaborative cross-functional teams of peers and departments within the company.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with cross functional teams in order to maintain IAM processes effectiveness across different environments.
Understanding Akamai internal systems, data sources, and processes to help stakeholders to consume IAM services.
Understanding of IAM landscape especially in onboarding application to Role Management tools.
Following IAM domains: single sign-on, privilege access management, directory services, access federation and account lifecycle.
Documenting functional, non-functional and technical specifications including KPIs/KCI to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
Working closely with compliance team to address risk and challenges related to IAM domain.
Observing market trends in the IAM space and identify opportunities for the further development.
