Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be 21 years of age or older.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Guard card is reequired.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, checking identification, and documenting visitor and/or vendor access in accordance with site protocols.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
Support day-to-day access control operations by assisting with badge procedures, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and reporting security-related concerns according to post instructions.
