About The Position

The Security EMT is responsible for the safety and well-being of guests and employees. This role involves responding to medical emergencies, patrolling the property to identify hazards, enforcing company policies, and assisting law enforcement. The EMT will also be involved in various security functions such as chip fills, jackpot verifications, and money escorts. A key aspect of this role is adhering to the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which emphasizes proactive guest and team member interaction.

Requirements

  • Must be currently certified/licensed as an EMT by the State of Oklahoma.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and complies with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of guests and fellow employees.
  • Follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, which includes acknowledging and greeting guests and team members.
  • Participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
  • Give directions and provide escort to customers in need.
  • Provide assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony.
  • Make chip fills and jackpot verifications.
  • Regularly provide escorts of money and persons in money-handling positions.
  • Provide first aid, including CPR when necessary.
  • Patrol all sections of the property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security.
  • Interview, investigate, and document all applicable incidents in accordance with company policy.
  • Make lost and found detailed descriptions of people and incidents.
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Be present for each gaming session.
  • Serve as the primary first responder to all medical emergencies for guest and employee injuries and illnesses.
  • Provide emergency medical/multi-media first aid and determine requirements for emergency treatment off-property.
  • Present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
