About The Position

Join our team to keep students safe, on the move, and supported every day! Safely transport students to medical appointments, work-based learning sites, recreational activities, and other approved destinations. Serve as a member of the Security team while on center by helping maintain a safe, secure, and positive campus environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to meet Company insurability requirements.
  • Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles and comply with all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain professionalism, and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical activities including standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Previous experience in student transportation, security, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience working with youth or young adults.
  • Knowledge of Department of Labor (DOL) or Job Corps policies and procedures.
  • CPR, First Aid, or other safety/security certifications.
  • Experience maintaining vehicle records, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport students to medical appointments, work-based learning sites, recreational activities, and other approved destinations.
  • Serve as a member of the Security team while on center by helping maintain a safe, secure, and positive campus environment.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle logs, inspection reports, and other required transportation documentation.
  • Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance and repairs for assigned vehicles.
  • Assist with routine inspections of center facilities and grounds and report maintenance or safety issues.
  • Monitor student behavior during transportation and while performing security duties, ensuring compliance with center policies.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and supervisors to support daily operations.
  • Model Career Success Standards and maintain a professional, respectful, and student-focused approach.
  • Support center operations by assisting other departments and performing additional duties as assigned.
