As a Security Officer / Driver in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support a professional environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, trailers, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery activity; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
