About The Position

The Security Dispatcher is responsible for maintaining and recording incoming radio calls, receiving inquiries from the public and team members, and dispatching officers. This role requires a thorough knowledge of radio codes, signals, and departmental policies and procedures, including confidentiality. The dispatcher will also monitor team member clock-ins and outs and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift 40+ lbs.
• Must complete all security certifications within one year of hire in accordance with the gaming commissions rules and regulations.
• Must obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire.
• Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of skill in the use of radio codes, signals and call letters or numbers used by Dakota Sioux Casino Security department.
• Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of policies and procedures of the Dakota Sioux Casino Security department and the Security operations manual; includes confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and records incoming radio calls on a radio log.
• Receives public and team member inquiries in person or by telephone in a polite and professional manner.
• Dispatches officers by radio, telephone or in person.
• Maintains files and memorandums.
• Monitors the clocking in and out of all team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
