About The Position

As a Security Dispatch Officer in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. You will greet tenants and visitors, support access points, and communicate clearly with site contacts and responders. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, retail corridors, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, and medical situations while coordinating with property staff and/or local responders as needed.
  • Monitor and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns observed during patrols, and complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation.
  • Support access control by observing entry points, verifying credentials when required, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and enforcing posted property rules in a professional manner.
