About The Position

Total Site Solutions (TSS), Georgetown, TX, is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Security Director to help lead the physical and associated policy compliance for three warehousing facilities storing high-value property. As TSS continues to scale, we need a seasoned security professional who can take ownership of day-to-day security operations and policy compliance across multiple sites, while building the foundation for a security organization that will grow alongside the company. Reporting directly to the Chief Security Officer (CSO), this role is central to safeguarding TSS's people, property, and reputation as we expand our footprint. We're looking for a DCSO with deep, cross-disciplinary security and/or law enforcement experience who is excited about the opportunity to build and professionalize a security function from the ground up. This individual will be part of a mission-driven, customer-focused team that values integrity, vigilance, and calm, decisive leadership under pressure. At TSS, you'll work closely with facility leadership, outside law enforcement and regulatory partners, and eventually a Security Coordinator and future site security staff, contributing to a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. If you're ready to build and lead a security program that protects real, high-value assets at scale, TSS is the place for you. About Us: TSS designs, deploys, equips, and manages data centers and other technology environments for enterprise companies, colocation providers, and technology company partners. We encourage initiative, creativity, and innovation, and there is plenty of room to grow with TSS as we expand our team and service offerings. Vision: To be the most trusted AI and high-performance computing data center services and integration provider in the market. Mission: TSS delivers complex technology solutions fueled by continuous improvement and expertise. Our responsive team ensures reliability, flexibility, and scalability, forging trusted partnerships through superior service and execution.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience in law enforcement, security management, or a related field, with a track record of increasing responsibility and leadership.
  • Demonstrated cross-disciplinary security and/or law enforcement experience (e.g., physical security, executive protection, investigations, corrections, military, or public safety).
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional or cross-disciplinary teams in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong experience working with outside organizations, such as law enforcement agencies, regulators, and third-party vendors.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to convey security matters clearly to audiences ranging from frontline staff to executive leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage compliance across multiple sites and priorities simultaneously.
  • Skilled in diplomacy and negotiation, able to build consensus and resolve conflict among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • A professional, positive, and optimistic approach to leadership and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee physical security operations and policy compliance across three warehousing facilities storing high-value property, ensuring consistent, audit-ready execution of security standards at every site.
  • Serve as the CSO's principal deputy, managing daily security operations so the CSO can focus on enterprise-level strategy, and step in to lead security matters in the CSO's absence.
  • Build out and eventually manage Security Coordinators, establishing clear roles, reporting lines, and performance expectations as the security team grows.
  • Plan for and lead security integration through future expansion, developing scalable playbooks, staffing models, and site-specific risk assessments as TSS grows.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce physical security policies and procedures, including access control, perimeter security, seal and inventory procedures, and incident response protocols.
  • Conduct and oversee routine facility inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews, ensuring findings are documented and corrective actions are tracked to closure.
  • Coordinate with outside law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and third-party security vendors to maintain strong external relationships and ensure a rapid, well-coordinated response to security incidents.
  • Communicate security incidents and recommendations clearly and professionally to the CSO, site leadership, and, as needed, customers and auditors.
  • Support emergency response planning and act as an on-the-ground point of escalation for security incidents, remaining calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Track and analyze security metrics and inspection data, providing data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement in physical security and compliance.
  • Ensure security practices comply with applicable regulations, contractual requirements, and industry best practices, staying current on physical security trends and standards.
