Bloomberg•New York, NY
•$240,000 - $330,000

About The Position

Bloomberg’s Office of the CTO is its forward-looking technical arm, envisioning the future of Bloomberg’s business and determining how technology can help achieve that vision. The Security Services Architecture team, part of the CTO Infrastructure group, solves complex security problems and prototypes next-generation infrastructure security technologies. It designs security controls and threat-models distributed systems to shape how Bloomberg secures its infrastructure. As a Technical Product Owner, you will help define the long-term architecture, strategy, and roadmap for Bloomberg’s security data products, working closely with the Chief Information Security Office and engineering teams. The portfolio includes a security data platform that transforms petabytes of structured and unstructured data into machine-readable knowledge for security applications, and a security asset inventory that unifies data from disparate systems with a focus on accuracy. You will also help develop Bloomberg’s strategy for using AI with security data to improve workflows, lower barriers to entry, and optimize infrastructure. This is a high-leverage, cross-functional role requiring a balance of security expertise and business acumen. You will work with partners and end users across the company to understand data technologies, telemetry capabilities, workflows, and technical requirements, and help deliver Bloomberg’s long-term vision for security visibility.
