About The Position

Harvard Protection Services is hiring a Security - Concierge to provide professional, customer-focused security and life safety services for people and property. The role includes concierge services, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring for suspicious or unsafe activity, supporting access control, conducting patrols, and responding to facility procedures and reporting requirements. Duties may differ depending on the customer location assigned. Requirements

Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Reliable means of communication and transportation.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Neat and professional appearance.

Nice To Haves

Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Provide concierge services and maintain a professional demeanor while assisting customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
Maintain a visible presence in the assigned facility or building.
Monitor the environment and detect suspicious or unsafe activity.
Become familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic, including customers, tenants, visitors, and guests.
Greet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, and guests professionally.
Answer phones professionally.
Permit authorized persons to enter the property and monitor entrances and exits.
Learn and enforce facility or building policies and procedures within the limits of the position.
Conduct required patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
Observe departing personnel to help prevent theft of company property and ensure property removal is authorized under customer requirements.
Follow established emergency action plans and procedures.
Monitor alarms and systems.
Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as directed.
