About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Concierge Officer for an office building in Piscataway, New Jersey. The role focuses on monitoring security systems and surveillance screens, spotting potential threats, protecting people and property, and responding to incidents. The schedule is part-time, Friday through Sunday, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The hourly wage is $20.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have a valid New Jersey SORA license.
• Have strong computer skills and proficiency with technology.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have a state license if required.

Nice To Haves

• CCURE 9000 experience is preferred but not required.
• Genetec experience is preferred but not required.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors' identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
