About The Position

Fusion Technology is a performance-driven HUBZone Small Business concern residing in the heart of the beautiful mountainsides of West Virginia, steps away from the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Criminal Justice Information Services Division's Headquarters. Founded in 2007 by an Engineer-by-trade, Fusion Technology dedicates our valuable resources to providing comprehensive IT services and solutions to mission-critical US Government programs and the Intel Community. The Security Cloud Architect is responsible for advising, designing, coordinating, reviewing, building, integrating, and guiding the evolution of services through the implementation of single- or multi-cloud infrastructure(s) by analyzing requirements, procedures, and problems to develop future technology and architectural advancements that support the Government's strategy and continued technology evolution. The Security Cloud Architect shall demonstrate the ability to translate requirements into end-to-end system designs and explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Security-cleared Professional: A TS/SCI is required to be considered for this position.
  • Education and Experience: You have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 10+ years of experience in cloud architecting.
  • Recent and relevant experience administering technologies from at least two different primary requirements domains.
  • The Security Cloud Architect shall have thorough knowledge and/or certifications in multiple cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, and IBM Cloud.
  • Certifications: The Security Cloud Architect shall possess an active technical certification compliant with DoD 81401.

Nice To Haves

  • Security Cloud Architect to have a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related STEM field.
  • Relevant technology certifications will be considered equivalent to six (6) months of specialized experience.
  • Technology certifications in non-cloud technical domains such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Administrator Expert, etc.
