Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible security experience required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions during emergency situations.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Working knowledge of access control, security, and safety systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • English language proficiency required.

Nice To Haves

  • Seven (7) years of progressively responsible security experience preferred.
  • Additional languages are beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision of assigned security and/or fire personnel.
  • Mentor and support security supervisors and officers.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Inter-Con policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate risks and ensure adequate staffing coverage for assigned site(s).
  • Monitor compliance with post orders, applicable regulations, and established security procedures.
  • Advise management of emergency situations and ensure appropriate response by security personnel.
  • Research and recommend best practices, operational improvements, and security initiatives.
  • Interface with client management regarding security and fire prevention services.
  • Identify security concerns, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with recruiting, selecting, onboarding, training, developing, and retaining personnel.
  • Develop and maintain security staffing schedules.
  • Conduct compliance reviews, audits, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Monitor regulatory, safety, and fire prevention compliance.
  • Maintain records and documentation in accordance with company requirements.
  • Respond to emergencies and direct security operations during critical incidents.
  • Ensure incidents are reported, documented, and investigated appropriately.
  • Maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Supervise fire prevention and fire-related functions when applicable.
  • Report to designated client management and Inter-Con leadership.
