Requirements
- High School diploma or GED plus three (3) years of experience in warehouse distribution, security or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct frequent patrols of the facilities and complete safety and security checks.
- Conduct foot patrols of the facilities where access is provided to identify safety and security concerns.
- Makes periodic tours about buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows and gates to ensure that they are properly secured.
- Provide feedback to supervisor of any exceptions, incidents or pertinent information.
- Ensure that all Company security standards, policies and procedures are maintained.
- Report any suspicious activity to the proper authorities.
- Ensure security of doors, windows and gates.
- Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering restricted areas.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Complete a Shift Report per the Shift Report Writing Guidelines.
- Attend staff meetings/trainings as required.
- May serve as liaison with police on mutual problems.
