About The Position
Marksman Security is seeking Licensed Armed Security Officers for full-time and part-time positions on the 3rd shift in Downtown West Palm Beach. This role is at an iconic 25-story waterfront condominium, requiring patrols, checkpoints, and CCTV camera monitoring. Requirements
- Valid FL D License and FL G Armed Security License
- Valid FL Driver’s License
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Basic computer skills
- Minimum of one year of security experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
- Must have their own 9mm firearm, duty belt and Level 3 holster
Nice To Haves
- This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
- Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
- Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or the presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
- Other duties to be determined by operations
