About The Position

ThinkTek LLC is seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to design, engineer, and implement secure enterprise architectures supporting Federal Government programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering, cybersecurity, network and systems administration, and security architecture, with a strong understanding of federal cybersecurity standards and best practices. This role is responsible for ensuring security is integrated throughout the system lifecycle while supporting mission-critical environments and collaborating with technical teams to develop resilient, compliant solutions.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university.
  • Ten (10) years of overall Information Technology experience.
  • Eight (8) years of technical engineering experience including: Requirements analysis, Systems engineering, Network administration, Systems administration, Cybersecurity
  • Experience designing and implementing secure enterprise architectures.
  • Strong understanding of security architecture principles, risk management, and federal cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Experience developing technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates must possess an IASAE Level II certification, including one of the following: CASP+ CE, CISSP, CSSLP.

Responsibilities

  • Design secure enterprise architectures that align with mission and business requirements.
  • Develop security architecture frameworks, standards, and technical roadmaps.
  • Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into secure system designs.
  • Integrate cybersecurity principles throughout the system development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Perform systems engineering activities including architecture reviews, technical analysis, and solution design.
  • Develop and implement security controls to protect information systems and infrastructure.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend secure implementation strategies.
  • Support network and systems administration activities from a security architecture perspective.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and provide mitigation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, system administrators, and government stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity policies and security requirements.
  • Develop architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical reports.
  • Support security assessments, authorization activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
