About The Position

Vi at Palo Alto is seeking a Security and Safety Manager to join their resident services team. This role is responsible for managing security personnel and ensuring the security and safety of the community grounds at all times. The manager will be the primary responder to medical alerts, fire and intrusion alarms, and will conduct accident and incident investigations and reporting. This position also serves as the Risk Management lead for the community, collaborating with the Executive Director and Corporate Risk Management Team.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Security Management.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Valid and current driver's license.
Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous management of security or safety team.
Associate Degree in related field or equivalent years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

Manage security personnel.
Maintain security and safety at all times in all areas of the community grounds.
Provide initial response to medical alerts.
Provide initial response to fire and intrusion alarms.
Conduct accident and incident investigation and reporting.
Serve as the Risk Management lead for the community in partnership with the Executive Director and Corporate Risk Management Team.
