The Security Agent's primary responsibility is to establish and maintain a safe and secure site environment while protecting the interests and assets of the organization. This role also involves acting as an emergency first responder in various situations, including medical assistance, crisis management, and investigations.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma.
Possession of a valid security guard license.
Possession of a valid first aid card.
Good physical health.
Ability to work on your feet for long hours.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Positive attitude, resourcefulness, and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary education in a related discipline.
Security experience.
Experience in hospitality and/or customer service.

Responsibilities

Patrol all areas of the property, including outdoor spaces and nearby lodges.
Draft detailed incident reports for events occurring during the shift.
Interact with guests and colleagues to enhance their experience.
Identify, monitor, and proactively mitigate risks to safety, security, and the guest/colleague experience.
Manage accidents and assist guests and employees in emergency situations.
Defuse guest disturbances and escort individuals off the property if necessary.
Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and facilitate interviews.
Complete required shift reports and maintain confidentiality of loss prevention documentation.
Respond to all emergency situations or accidents simultaneously.
Develop strong relationships throughout the organization to foster trust and support.
Perform all other related duties.
