About The Position

This role provides Computer Network Defense (CND) support to ensure products, systems, and services comply with all appropriate Information Assurance (IA) & Computer Network Defense (CND) policies/procedures, network defense requirements, and best practices as prescribed by various government agencies including the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER). The position requires advanced IT administrator skills, knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, and familiarity with DoD, IC, and national-level system security initiatives, including the Evaluator Scoring Metric (ESM). Proficiency in MS Office products is also essential.

Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain TS with SCI eligibility.
  • Possess at least one of the following certifications on day 1: CEH, CySA+, CCNA Cyber Ops, GCIA, GCIH.
  • Have at least two (2) years' experience with Cyber Security CS disciplines within the DoD and/or other agencies within the United States Government.
  • Possess advanced IT administrator skills in remote administration and remote desktop.
  • Have working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies.
  • Have working knowledge of the DoD, IC, and national level system security initiatives.
  • Must be familiar with the requirements outlined in the most current Evaluator Scoring Metric (ESM).
  • Be computer literate with emphasis on proficiency with MS Office products (i.e.; MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams).

Nice To Haves

  • Complete CISA or GSNA or CySA+ or cyber/information/network security advanced degrees within 6 months of hire (additional training, certifications, and/or years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for a degree).
  • Complete training for HBSS 201 & 501 or equivalent within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with requirements prescribed by the Office of the Directory of National Intelligence (ODNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), the CSSP TIER-II, and local authorities.
  • Perform advanced IT administration tasks including remote administration and remote desktop.
  • Utilize working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies.
  • Apply working knowledge of the DoD, IC, and national level system security initiatives.
  • Familiarize with the requirements outlined in the most current Evaluator Scoring Metric (ESM).
  • Be computer literate with emphasis on proficiency with MS Office products (i.e.; MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams).
