Job Description As a Security Officer Bicycle Patrol Watch in West Hollywood, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a dynamic public-facing location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Able to ride a bike.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a municipal location.
Respond to incidents, public concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public-facing areas, parking locations, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with visitor interactions, directions, and other security-related support duties in alignment with site expectations.
Support a professional environment by observing activity, reporting policy violations and/or hazards, and coordinating with local contacts or first responders when appropriate.
