About The Position

Solucient Security is seeking new Operators to join our second shift team. As an Alarm Operator, you will specialize in primarily commercial and some residential alarm monitoring. You will be responsible for notifying clients of verified alarms, informing them when help is on the way, and working with them to offer solutions. You will also dispatch police and fire authorities when verified alarms are presented. This is a full-time opportunity with a starting pay of $15/hour, with the potential to increase as your skills and experience grow. The role is based at our office located at 7241 Fenton Road in Grand Blanc, Michigan. We provide an extensive 4-6 week paid training program to equip you with the necessary skills to handle emergency alarms, procedures, and protocols to protect life and property.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
High School Education, GED or equivalent.
1-2 years customer support-related experience.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (MS365 a plus).
Advanced phone skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong data entry/keyboarding skills.
Capacity to remain calm, empathetic, and supportive while balancing the highest level of attention to detail.
Ability to follow company protocols and standard operating procedures.
Desire to exceed expectations and make a difference in the lives of our customers and community.
Commitment to high standards and customer service excellence.
Successful pre-employment background check and drug test are required.
