About The Position

Solucient Security is seeking new Operators to join our second shift at our Grand Blanc, Michigan office. As an Alarm Operator, you will specialize in commercial and residential alarm monitoring. You will be part of a team dedicated to client satisfaction, notifying clients of verified alarms, dispatching authorities when necessary, and offering solutions to meet client needs. No prior industry experience is required, as we provide an extensive 4-6 week paid training program covering emergency alarms, procedures, and protocols to protect life and property. This is a full-time opportunity with a starting pay of $15/hour, with potential for pay increases based on skills and experience. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age with High School Education, GED or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years customer support-related experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (MS365 a plus).
  • Advanced phone skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data entry/keyboarding skills.
  • The capacity to remain calm, empathetic, and supportive while balancing the highest level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to follow company protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • The desire to exceed expectations and make a difference in the lives of our customers and community.

  • Successful pre-employment background check and drug test are required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor commercial and residential alarm systems.
  • Notify clients of verified alarms.
  • Dispatch police and fire authorities when verified alarms are presented.
  • Work with clients to offer solutions and ensure their needs are met.
  • Follow company protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service excellence.
  • Verify, communicate, and document alarm signals.
