About The Position

Stoke is building Nova, a fully and rapidly reusable launch vehicle, to help create a scalable space industry and support a vibrant, sustainable, and equitable future on Earth. The team is mission-driven, collaborative, and empowered to take ownership of its work. The Security Administrator will administer, maintain, document, and continuously improve technical security controls that protect Stoke’s infrastructure, engineering environments, manufacturing systems, and sensitive aerospace data. Working across IT, software engineering, manufacturing, and operations, this hands-on role supports the company’s evolving information security program and helps teams work quickly without compromising security. The position operates and maintains security tools and controls across infrastructure, engineering systems, and manufacturing environments, while supporting risk management, compliance, and audit readiness. It also translates regulatory requirements—including NIST 800-53/171, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, and SOC frameworks—into practical security configurations, repeatable processes, and maintained documentation. The successful candidate must stay focused, move quickly, self-direct, and learn on the fly.
