About The Position

This position regulates standards and policies necessary to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information resources. It enforces processes via preventative or detective controls, consults with clients to ensure standards are followed, and assures practices are in compliance. The role participates in security planning and provides input on the selection of methods and procedures used to ensure the protection of the organization’s systems and data. Under minimal supervision, this role resolves escalated and non-routine incidents requiring analysis and evaluation by consulting with the end-user and/or completing more complicated tasks. The specialist may adapt procedures and techniques to meet complex job requirements while exercising judgment in accordance with defined policies, procedures, and practices. This position follows a hybrid workstyle policy, expecting associates to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month. Please note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.

Requirements

  • Structured problem definition, requirements gathering, functional specifications, solution analysis, and testing as it relates to implementing system/application security.
  • Authentication, Authorization, Provisioning, and directory services.
  • Access control and security features of multiple systems and platforms.
  • Experience with Active Directory - permissions
  • Experience using ServiceNow, working off a queue
  • On-Call Rotation: You will participate in an on-call rotation from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, typically once every six to eight weeks, and will be responsible for responding to and resolving incidents that require urgent attention.
  • May work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.
  • General Experience - 13 months to 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all access provisioning in the company including all user lifecycles (new hires, terminations, transfers, name changes, promotions, etc.) as well as access for applications.
  • Uses knowledge of a wide range of technologies in order to properly assess authentication appropriateness for each individual or application.
  • Functions as a technical expert with respect to access controls and security mechanisms of the systems being administrated or analyzed.
  • Researches, evaluates, and implements Identity and Access Management Systems.
  • Provides IAM Consulting for integration with existing IAM systems.
  • Responsible for risk detection and remediation.
  • Identifies and manages access management-related risk in accordance with the business owners’ risk tolerance.
  • Maintains knowledge of security laws, principles and practices and identity management best practices.
  • Manages communication regarding security tools and the implementation of entitlements.
  • Independently performs due diligence research and makes decisions with respect to exception requests.
  • Develops standards and policies to address regulatory and internal security requirements.
  • Identifies security gaps and suggests solutions to mitigate the risks.
  • Identifies process inefficiencies and works with all areas to implement process improvements.
  • Performs and executes after hours production/scheduling coverage in accordance with the on-call roster.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
