Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Two (2) years of prior relevant experience in a Supervisory and/or Management role
  • Working knowledge of security policies and procedures preferred
  • Must be a strong writer with excellent communication and comprehension skills
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and training activities of the Security Training Academy, ensuring all mission-critical objectives and requirements for Las Vegas and Regional Properties are met in alignment with direction from the Security Academy Manager
  • Forecast training needs and manage the master training schedule to ensure timely completion of required training and certifications, maintaining compliance with federal, state, local laws, and MGMRI policies
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of all training documentation, certifications, and reporting; maintain records within Training Academy databases, dashboards, and manual systems
  • Develop, track, and deliver performance metrics and reports to leadership, including the Security Academy Manager, Security COE team, and property leadership across Las Vegas and Regional Properties
  • Manage training supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring proper distribution, tracking, and real-time visibility of resources
  • Oversee budget adherence, procurement processes, and expense reporting in accordance with approved guidelines
