Securities Services Operations Associate
About The Position
The Securities Services Operations Associate is part of the Trust & Custody Operations team that supports the Corporate Trust and Institutional Custody divisions. Within the Operations environment, this team supports UMB two lines of business, Institutional Custody and Corporate Trust, by processing new securities establishment. The Securities Services Operations Associates have a specific and impactful function for our clients and UMB to ensure accurate processing. The Trust Operations associates are the subject matter expert in operational processes for our clients and internal partners. This position assists clients with any questions and issues they may face while creating an unparalleled client experience. You will respond to various queries regarding securities, establish new securities, and make updates to securities upon request. You will also cross-train amongst other team members responsibilities for backup when needed. You can expect a fast-paced environment with unpredictable scenarios while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to client needs. Requirements
- 2 years of financial services experience OR Associates Degree OR Bachelors Degree
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Use problem-solving skills to determine what action needs to be taken when processing internal UMB requests.
- Respond to various queries regarding securities.
- Establish new securities.
- Make updates to securities upon request.
- Cross-train amongst other team members responsibilities for backup when needed.
