About The Position

The Section Manager, IT Vendor Management Office (VMO), provides strategic leadership for the management of technology, cybersecurity, staffing, consulting, and other service providers supporting Enterprise Technology & Security (ETS). This role establishes vendor segmentation, performance-management, governance, commercial, and operating-model practices that align external partners with enterprise priorities and measurable business outcomes. The Section Manager evaluates strategic versus tactical vendor relationships, determines the appropriate governance and engagement model for each vendor, manages multivendor dependencies, and leads a team responsible for stakeholder engagement, service performance, issue resolution, continuous improvement, contract changes, and vendor accountability. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
