About The Position

This position requires the ability to motivate and lead a team to meet safety, quality, and efficiency requirements. The Section Leader must be willing to work any shift in any department and on weekends. They will be responsible for speaking in front of a group and holding pre-shift meetings.

Requirements

• Must always have and maintain a Valid Forklift License.
• Willingness and ability to motivate a team.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Analytical and PC skills (must be able to function on a PC).
• High level of teamwork.
• Forklift certified.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently.
• Able to work overtime as needed and weekends.
• Must be able to Multi-Task and Work at a Fast Pace.
• Must have a good attendance record.
• Must be able to read, write, and perform mathematics.
• Not have received or retain more than one (1) active Level 1 Counseling/Progressive Discipline within a “rolling” 12-month period.
• Must be a full-time associate with a minimum of 3 months of service (Associate cannot be in their New Hire Probationary Period).
• Must not have received any formal written occurrences, other than attendance during the past 6 months.
• Must not have less than 3.5 points during the time of posting and/or cannot reach 1.5 points while in the position.
• Cannot have received a transfer from an internal posting from Division to Division within the past 12 months.
