About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Project Manager for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and other aerospace system development, acquisition, operations, and sustainment efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to support the US Air and Space Forces’ acquisition and integration of next-generation technologies and capabilities. This person supports the Product Support Branch lead for the next-generation ICBM, the LGM-35A Sentinel, and includes integrating efforts across the ICBM enterprise and other DoD customers and stakeholders. This is section lead supervisory position. You will provide contributions that will shape the development and deployment of the US Air Force’s next generation ICBM and support similar efforts to integrate all of the integrated product support elements. This position will directly support the Sentinel Program’s Product Support Branch in the development of the weapon system capabilities for the next generation ICBM. Duties will include providing expert advice and support to Sentinel program leaders on all Product Support throughout the acquisition cycle. Help design, develop and deliver a Product Support package for the Sentinel Weapon System (WS). Requirements

  • 14 years with bachelor’s degree; 12 years with a master's degree.
  • Experience with ACAT ID Major Defense Acquisition Programs.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, multi-discipline engineering and program management team environment, able to define strategic goals, plan operations and implement tactical customer guidance with minimal day-to-day guidance.
  • Strong organizational and teambuilding skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk reduction efforts.
  • Strong verbal communications skills and proven track record building and maintaining strong customer and peer relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in complex environments and challenging situations.
  • Must have current Secret security clearance (adjudicated within the past 6 years) or higher and be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance and all required Special Program accesses.
