They offer services in Inspection, Certification and Auditing, HSE Advisory, Product Certification, Metrology & Calibration, Food Laboratory Testing, and Training & Technical Support. An exciting opportunity is available for a Section Head, IIS KSA Sales based in Jubail. This role reports directly to the Manager, KSA Industrial Inspection SRV. The primary function is to provide project management leadership, maintain client relationships, and ensure the safe and effective delivery of contracts and services according to scope, specifications, timelines, and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for single complex projects and a portfolio of projects valued over 500k SAR, meeting defined criteria requiring project oversight.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Assistant and Project Managers by managing and evaluating team effectiveness and taking corrective action.
  • Accountable for all aspects of project performance, service delivery, and safety management systems through effective planning, budget, time, and quality controls.
  • Manage the bid and tender development processes for individual and project management teams’ contracts.
  • Identify, source, and coordinate effective full-time and part-time resources for all aspects of assigned projects in line with contractual and budgetary agreements.
  • Accountable for the effective delivery of the project through the management of complex issues and opportunities arising with the client and their organization.
  • Provide visible, proactive HS&E leadership, ensuring compliance with LR Corporate and local HS&E policies and processes, including client-specific requirements, incident reporting, task risk assessment, and safe methods.
  • Plan all aspects of contract compliance and management, including change control, contract variations, and actively seek opportunities with the client.
  • Manage and oversee project schedules, financial tracking, contract risks management procedures, issues, and associated project documentation.
  • Support compliance with all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and support debtor management in cooperation with Lloyd’s Register’s credit control function.
  • Conduct regular project and contract reviews, reporting project status internally and externally.
  • Coordinate technical and related project-specific administrative tasks.
  • Support the finance department in collection of outstanding payments to prevent bad debts.
  • Determine annual plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions, project sales targets, and revenue for existing and new products.
  • Develop an outward-looking, client-focused sales team that hunts for new work and expands existing relationships.
  • Act as a client representative/champion within the company, challenging internal processes and services to improve company offerings.
  • Review and analyze internal and external trends and results; review and finalize pricing strategies and selling prices with management approval.
  • Advise and act on monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
  • Manage, develop, coach, control, and motivate the sales team to enhance their skills, achieve high professional standards, and meet monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all legislation, shareholder, and ethical requirements for self and team.
  • Ensure a clear process flow within the sales department with standardized documents, clear rules, accountability, and measurable KPIs.
  • Ensure KPIs and targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward, and individual recognition.
  • Identify marketing opportunities by understanding consumer requirements, defining market share, competitor strengths/weaknesses, forecasting business, and establishing targeted market share.
  • Manage and implement Key Account Management (KAM) & Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Sustain rapport with key accounts through periodic visits, exploring needs, and anticipating new opportunities.
  • Accomplish marketing mission by attending and arranging conferences and trade shows.
  • Support marketing in developing advertisements, promotions, and sales materials.
  • Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs.
  • Develop field sales action plans.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal and professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Provide on-the-ground support for the sales team in generating leads and closing new deals.
  • Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, and work instructions as per QHSE, ISO standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.
