About The Position

This position serves as the secretary and management assistant to district/site manager in an MRS district administrative unit. The position is responsible for the coordination of office activities, is knowledgeable of confidential personnel matters, and performs a full range of management support secretarial assignments. Serves as lead administrative support for the district. Serves as the district Procurement Card holder; completes authorized purchases in accordance with State of MI procurement policies. Performs related work as assigned.

Requirements

  • Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
  • Four years of office experience involving administrative support practices, including one year equivalent to advanced 8-level administrative support work, or equivalent to a Secretary E8, or Legal Secretary E8.
  • OR Four years of office experience involving administrative support practices, including two years equivalent to experienced E7-level administrative support work, or equivalent to a Secretary 7, or Legal Secretary 7.
  • Must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position.
